Thanks to Sarah me and my trip to china have been featured on today’s main article of Young Germany, Germans Thirst for Adventure.
The article is really nice, though it was surprisingly short to me as we had a more than 2 1/2-hour interview about it. And there is a little detail missing about that fucking shitty „Chancelor Schröder“ teahouse (which was fake anyway for certain, I think)… ;-)

I was interviewed for 3/4h and not even mentioned. So what the hell are you complaining about?

Und das, wo du doch bestimmt so viele spannende Abenteuer aus Kuala Lumpur zu berichten hattest! Vollkommen unverständlich! ;-)

Gibst doch nicht. Du bist im Internet bekannt, wie ein bunter Hund.

Sorry about that Marco. The problem is they don’t give you many words to play with, so you have to really limit your article. Unfortunately, sometimes you end up interviewing someone and not using any of it – you have to gather all your source info before deciding what to use – that’s just the way it goes with journalism.
The reason the tea house etc. wasn’t mentioned is because my editor cut it out – he didn’t think it was relevant. I did, and had featured it in the article I submitted, but these guys always edit something out …
